Clifford Sydney Harriss was born September 27,, 1923 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Clifford Sidney Sr. & Naomi E Kirtley Harris. August 25, 1951 Clifford married Phyllis Jane Watts in Lynchburg, Virginia. June 29, 1942 Clifford registered for the military draft at Ft. Smith, Sebastian co., Ar. He enlisted with the US Army December 9, 1942. He served until March 26, 1946. Nothing more is known about his time in the service. Clifford Sidney Harriss, Jr. passed away May 29, 1973 in Farmville, Prince Edward, Virginia and was buried in the Westview Cemetery there.
